The CA USA 2017 Team Women's Fight Short is the official fight short of California USA Wrestling’s National Women’s Freestyle Team. Every summer, the best of the best of California’s Cadet and Junior age group wrestlers head out to Fargo, North Dakota to compete against the rest of the country for a national championship. 2017 is the first year that these California girls will be rocking WrestlingMart Fight Shorts as part of their uniform, and we’re willing to bet their competitors will be jealous. Just like the men’s version of the CA Team shorts, or our Signature Fight Shorts, these were specifically designed for wrestlers - female wrestlers to be exact. We’re not just making the same men’s short and calling it women’s; these actually have a different cut and sizing that is specific to lady wrestlers, grapplers, and fighters. The 4-way stretch, moisture-wicking fabric really offers great mobility, and comfort. The elastic waistband, with an internal draw string, will keep your fingers safe while, of course, keep your shorts where they’re supposed to be. The look and feel was inspired by a unique blend of a traditional MMA short and a surfing-style board short. And, as a matter of fact, you can even use these for surfing if you want. Tons of our customers already use our fight shorts for the beach, hiking, lifting weights, running, lounging, and of course wrestling, and fighting. We wanted to keep the durability and functionality of the MMA short, while adding the comfort and visual appeal of a board short. In our home state of California, we all know if you look good… you wrestle good.
Do you have a size chart for the girls fight shorts?
We currently do not have a size chart for the shorts. They do run small so it would be good to up a size from your original size.
