ASICS is one of the biggest names in wrestling, and is one of the most wrestling-centric of the big mainstream brands out there. Rather than trying to appeal to every sport in existence, ASICS has put much of its focus on running and wrestling… and volleyball. To us, this means that wrestling isn’t just an add-on sport like it is for some brands; it’s a significant part of their business. Therefore, we can count on them to make high-quality wrestling gear. Although, they are probably most recognized for their wrestling shoes (i.e. the ASICS Aggressors), ASICS has been making some of the best stock wrestling singlets for years.
If you’re new to all this, you might be asking yourself, “What is a stock singlet”. We wish it was a singlet with built-in stockings, but it’s not. As rad as that sounds, it just wouldn’t be practical. A stock singlet (or stock anything for that matter) is simply the selection of standard designs and colorways that are regularly kept in stock in the warehouse and ready to ship. The downside is that they are not customizable, but here are a few upsides:
1. There is no minimum order for stock singlets
2. They will ship as soon as the order is processed, as long as they are indeed in stock
3. Stock singlets are much cheaper because the manufacturer produces them in large quantities
4. Returning, replacing, re-ordering, and exchanging is much simpler than it is with custom items

With the rapidly growing demand and popularity of wild and crazy custom designs, we have been shocked at how quickly our customers completely clean out our entire inventory of ASICS stock singlets. Sometimes simplicity is exactly what you need. In fact, the ASICS Solid Modified has consistently been one our top selling singlets, over everything we carry. The biggest reason for this is simply it’s the simplest, easiest solution for someone just starting out who needs something inexpensive and reliable. During freestyle season, we sell boatloads of the ASICS Reversible Modified Singlet because freestyle and Greco-Roman competitions require wrestlers to switch back and forth between a red and a blue singlet throughout the tournament. While neither of these is considered the top of the line, finest quality singlets in the land, they are priced incredibly well, they’re durable, and they get you from point A (not having a singlet) to point B (having a singlet). Another great part of ASICS stock singlet line is the Unrestrained Wrestling Singlet. While the body of this singlet is made of the same material as the Solid Modified, they added some breathable side panels that add some snazziness to the style, and it’s made with a more standard U-shaped back, rather than a T-back/racerback. Sadly, the Unrestrained is being phased out, but its successor, the ASICS Restrained Singlet (see what they did there?), is possibly even cooler. Along with the ASICS Legit Singlet, it’s brand new to the lineup and it is, well… legit, if you don’t mind us saying so. The ASICS Snap Down Wrestling Singlet is another classic, featuring a retro style leg band with more modern looking contrast stitching. Both the Snap Down and the Solid Modified come in women’s cut. Perhaps the most exciting new stock singlet ASICS has come out with is the superhero-style Lightning Strike Singlet. If it reminds you of the Team USA singlets, it should – it’s pretty much the same design, just slightly modified.
