Cliff Keen Stock Wrestling Singlets

Reliable. Time tested. Quality. Classic. These are all words that should come to mind when you think of Cliff Keen Athletic wrestling singlets. Cliff Keen Has remained the ‘Cadillac’ of wrestling singlets for decades, even as more and more new brands have been emerging each year. Since its inception in 1958, Cliff Keen athletic has provided high quality wrestling gear to many of the top college programs such as Michigan, Iowa, Oklahoma State, and Penn State – to name just a few. While Cliff Keen is well known for their headgear, custom singlets, warm-ups, and many other types of competition and training gear, this page highlights their “stock” singlets.

But first… what is a stock singlet? All this means is that these are Cliff Keen’s standard singlet patterns and colors that are (usually) readily available, in-stock and ready to ship. These are not made to order, and you cannot select custom colors. There are many benefits to choosing stock singlets over custom singlets. Here are a few important things to keep in mind:

1.    There is no minimum order for stock singlets
2.    As long as they are in stock, they will ship immediately and you will receive your singlets much faster vs. ordering custom singlets
3.    Because Cliff Keen produces stock singlets in bulk, they are generally significantly less expensive than custom singlets
4.    Returning, replacing, re-ordering, and exchanging are much simpler. Due to turnaround times for production, and minimum order requirements, replacing custom singlets is a longer process.
5.    Although they’re customizable, you can add screen-printed (silk screen) logos to any stock singlets. Keep in mind, this can add 1-3 weeks to the turnaround time because of artwork approval, and the time it takes to print them.

Note: If you plan to buy stock singlets and then print with an outside printing vendor, Cliff Keen cannot replace the singlets if anything goes wrong with the print. For this reason, we recommend staying within the same brand for any decorations whenever possible, to make sure you’re covered.

There are a few types and styles of stock singlets that we carry by Cliff Keen, and they’re not all equal. While some of the model names and styles of singlets change slightly each season, there are a few staple singlets that CK has kept consistent over the years. Perhaps the most instantly recognizable design is the Cliff Keen Collegiate Singlet. This is a simple design with a small accent color on the legs and arm straps, made popular by the Iowa University Hawkeyes. After so many years of domination, it’s nearly impossible for any wrestler to look at the black and gold version of the Collegiate Singlet and not think “Iowa”. As the name implies, many other great college teams have also used this singlet design. If all you’re looking for is a simple, plain, one-color singlet, we’ve got you covered with the Cliff Keen Relentless. It gets the job done…relentlessly. The women’s version of this is called the “Racerback Women’s Singlet”. Another classic is the Guillotine Compression Gear Singlet. It features sewn-in color block side panels, which adds some flare and allows for a better, snugger fit. The Duckunder Stock Compression Gear Singlet is a newer one that has a sort of retro feel to it, with two beautiful white stripes running down the side. The [Men’s] Reversible Singlet and the Respond Women’s Reversible Singlet are basically the girls’ and boys’ version of each other. They are reversible singlets with red on one side, blue on the other, black side panels, and rib knit trim for added comfort. Finally, we have the Escape Stock Compression Gear Singlet, which is a two-color pattern, featuring a big diagonal color block. The latest version of the Escape Singlet has large white areas of fabric which can be spot-sublimated, if you so choose. The sublimated stock singlets change so often that they are not included in this summary, but rest assured – we do carry those too.
