The Cliff Keen Slicker is for any wrestler who has really long hair, and it is required in most middle school and high school competition. Usually, female wrestlers are the ones who wear these, though guys with long hair also have to wear them. The new rule requires the hair cover to be connected to the headgear itself, unlike the old style that was more like a swim cap. The Slicker has loops that are made to attach to any headgear by looping the strap through the loops. It is in compliance with the new NFHS rules. Perhaps the coolest thing about this hair cover is that it’s reversible! That’s right; you can wear it either under or over your headgear.
