    Been using this headgear all my life. Very comfy and a little hard to hear but nothing too bad, only complain would be this headgear comes loose in my aggressive matches causing me to wrestle without it for a part of the period, it’s all good though, would totally recommend to anyone.

    Product is high quality materials. Adjustable back, top and chin strap. Velcro adjustment straps allow for easy adjusting. Allows for easy replacing of chin strip from other makers. Sound is easy to hear thanks to ear coverings. Feels durable and sturdy.

    This headgear was used by several people. It was shared, refitted and used over and over again. It hasn't shown any signs of damage so far and still remains solid with every use. It's proven superior to others in side by side comparison and convinced many of my wrestlers.

    How can you add a chin cup to the tornado?

    The chin cup comes separate. The chin cup comes with two buckles so it can attach to both sides of the Tornado headgear.

    The headgear comes with a Chin Strap. The Chin Cup is sold separately.

    My daughter's head is exactly 21 1/2 inches in diameter. The youth cliff keen tornado headgear recommends heads from 18-21 1/2 inches. My daughter is only 9 years old. Should I get her the youth or the the adult? Please help so I can order ASAP

    I would say go with the adult version of the Cliff Keen Tornado Headgear. The straps on the youth version are really small in length, and if the head is too big, it does not latch on to the Velcro properly. The adult version gives you plenty of room on the straps to adjust it down to a small size. She can also use the adult version as she continues to wrestle throughout the years.

    Will the adult size fit a 10 year old?

    The adult size headgear will fit your 10-year-old. The youth size version of the headgear is really small and typically fits 5-7 years old.

    I'm purchasing headgear for my 8yr old son. Will this Cliff Keen Tornadoe headgear fit properly? The only size available lists Adult size. Thank you, Ashley

    The Cliff Keen Tornado does come in a youth size. The only colors available for the youth Tornado are black/black, black/translucent, red/translucent, royal blue/translucent.

    Are the Cliff Keen Tornados any better at preventing concussions than other headgear??

    Hey Alfred! Unfortunately, the Cliff Keen Tornado is not designed to prevent concussions, and neither are most headgear or earguards that you'll find. Their main purpose is to prevent cauliflower ear, which is basically a hematoma turned cartilage on the ear. This can happen after repeated hits to the ear, causing the ear to fill up with blood; if left untreated, the blood will harden and look really gnarly. There are, however, some earguards out there that include padding on top of the ear that may help prevent head injuries a little more.
