Matman Original Headgear

The Matman #30 Original Earguard is one of the gnarliest headgears ever, and has been the favorite of many college wrestlers for thousands of years. It has that classic four-strap look that never goes out of style. The vinyl straps are both strong and durable, and will hold up to any amount of abuse wrestlers put their gear through. Compared to Velcro straps, as seen on the Tri-Force, these may be a little harder to adjust. However, the advantage is that once they are set how you want them, you shouldn’t have to adjust them anymore; they will stay perfectly in place. There is even a built in two-strap holder so that your top straps stay secure and don’t fall into your eyes. Amazing. The ear cups are made out of a hard, durable plastic, surrounded by incredibly soft and protective foam. Since the entire ear guard is non-pours (or is it nonporous or non-porous), it is very easy to clean. Each ear cup has four holes for ventilation and improved hearing. Like most headgear, the chin strap can be replaced with a separately purchased chin cup if you prefer.
