I haven’t actually worn them on the mat yet, but they look and feel great. I like my wrestling shoes really tight/small and wear 11 1/2’s (which are probably too small) in ASICS. These 11 1/2’s have just the tiniest bit more length in the toe compared to my old JB’s and Cael’s, but the shoe is narrower overall similar to Combat Speeds/old school Gable’s. The insole is extremely thin to almost nonexistent, but that is how they’re supposed to come. At first I thought they were missing before I looked at some pictures online. They’re still super comfortable and light. They basically feel like socks with grippy wrap around soles.
