The Cliff Keen Youth Signature offers the most heavy-duty protection for your more advanced youth wrestler. It is simply a smaller version of the Cliff Keen Signature ear guard (E58), which has been the most popular and trusted headgear design or decades. The only difference between the youth and the adult versions that the youth has a tough fabric covering for the foam padding, as rather than the rubberized finish of the adult version. This was done in order to keep up with the beating elite youth wrestlers tend to inflict on their headgear. The vinyl straps are slightly more difficult to adjust that some other ear guards that use Velcro, but the advantage is that they do not come undone or shift, and are extremely durable.

Will this fit a small headed 13 year old?
It would be good to go with the adult size headgear. The straps on the adult headgear can be adjusted down to a smaller size.

Will this headgear fit an 8 year old and does it come in different color?
The headgear should be able to fit your wrestlers head. The youth Signature's straps are really limited. The adult version straps give more to adjust and if you have excess straps you are able to trim them down. The good thing about the adult version it has a variety of colors to choose from

What age group is this product recommended for?
I would say from personal experience working with some of the kids here, it would be around the 5-11 age group.
